Welcome to the Annual Progress in Cardiovascular Disease (APICD) 2025!
This conference is designed especially for primary care physicians, with a mission to close the gap between specialist knowledge and everyday clinical practice.
This year’s theme, “A Multidisciplinary Approach in Managing Cardiovascular Disease and Comorbidities,” underscores the power of teamwork in navigating the complex realities of cardiovascular care.
We’re honored to welcome expert speakers—leading cardiologists and consultants from PERKI Banten—who will share valuable updates, practical strategies, and fresh perspectives.
Together, let’s deepen our understanding, strengthen our collaboration, and continue improving care for our patients and communities. We’re glad you’re here—let’s learn and grow, side by side.

A Message from the Chairman of PERKI Banten.
Dear friends and colleagues,
This year we are again holding the annual scientific meeting of PERKI Banten, Annual Progress in Cardiovascular Disease(APICD), with the theme
“Multidisciplinary approach in managing cardiovascular disease and comorbidities“.
The commencement of APICD this year has reached its 24th time, a consistency of an extraordinary scientific forum, organized by Cardiologist under the auspices of Indonesian Heart Association (PERKI) Banten Branch.
Given the overwhelming flow of information highlighting the medical profession today, the Indonesian Heart Association (PERKI), especially the Banten branch, remains committed to upholding principal of Ethics, providing the best health care services, updating knowledge, and regularly organizing scientific events as a form of professional responsibility to educate and enlighten the general public and medical practitioners in particular.
The annual event Annual Progress in Cardiovascular Disease is also intended primarily to provide the latest knowledge in the field of cardiology, to fellow general practitioners and other medical personnel within the PERKI Banten area.
As in previous years, this year’s APICD will also be filled with comprehensive scientific activities such as workshops with hands-on sessions, various symposiums, a medical-themed quiz event (Medical Jeopardy), ACLS competitions vying for the annual trophy, moderated poster and abstract presentations.
These events will be packaged in a very engaging and educational manner, so that participants will gain additional knowledge and understanding of heart disease issues comprehensively.
For that reason, we invite all colleagues to participate in this annual scientific event and to take full advantage of every program offered at this scientific meeting. This year, we are once again collaborating with Docquity to expand the online reach of participants, who will also jointly hold several interesting scientific webinars before the main APICD event (Road to APICD).
The successful organization of this event certainly cannot be separated from the cooperation and support from our pharmaceutical partners, who always serve as teammate in the education and knowledge enhancement of fellow doctors. For that, we are very appreciative.
Finally, congratulations to the chairman of the organizer and all the committee members who have helped make this event possible. To all the participants, have a fruitful and meaningful meeting, and may the knowledge gained be beneficial in improving the overall service to our patients
Thank you
Wassalamualaikum WW
