Terms & Conditions

Important Information Before Submitting Your Abstract

  1. All submissions must be made in English.
  2. Abstract submission is free of charge.
  3. Abstracts must be submitted through the official submission form at apicd2026.com. Other methods of submission will not be accepted.
  4. The submission deadline is 31 August 2026, 23:59 WIB. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  5. The submitter must be the first author and will serve as the presenter of the abstract.
  6. Once an abstract has been submitted, no changes or corrections can be made to the content or submitted information (including presenter details, topic, or authorship).
  7. All patient identifiers (e.g., name, date of birth, hospital number) must be removed. Authors are responsible for ensuring that such information is deleted from all images, figures, videos, or other materials included in the submission.
  8. Generic drug names must be used. The use of commercial drug names or brand names is strictly prohibited.
  9. Each abstract must include at least one author. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all submitted author information is accurate, as no changes will be permitted after submission.
  10. There is no limit to the number of abstracts that an author may submit.
  11. The Scientific Committee will determine the presentation format of each accepted abstract (Oral Presentation or Moderated Poster Presentation).
  12. Results will be announced in September 2026. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent by email to the submitting author. Additional instructions will be provided to accepted presenters at the time of notification.
  13. Selected abstract presenters for Oral Presentations and Moderated Poster Presentations will receive complimentary registration.
  14. All other abstract submitters will be eligible for a special discounted registration rate. Further information will be provided by email.
  15. Presentations will be conducted in Bahasa Indonesia. Detailed technical information regarding presentation formats, schedules, and requirements will be provided upon announcement of the selected abstracts.

Abstract Format

Important Information Before Submitting Your Abstract

  1. Abstracts must be prepared on A4-sized paper, in portrait orientation, and submitted in PDF format with a maximum file size of 1 MB.
    The file name must follow the format:
    “Type of Study (Case Report/Original Research) – Study Title – Corresponding/Presenting Author”
  2. Page layout:
    Margins: Normal (2.54 cm on all sides)
  3. Font requirements:
    - Title: Times New Roman, 14 pt, bold, 1.5 line spacing
    - Authors and Affiliations: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.15 line spacing
    - Abstract Body and Keywords: Times New Roman, 11 pt, single spacing
  4. The title should be concise, informative, and accurately reflect the study.
  5. Authors and affiliations should be written as follows:
    Authors
    - Initial(s) of first and middle name followed by last name
    Example:
    - J. I. Doe¹, J. A. Doe²
    Affiliations (italicized)
    - Department, Institution, City, Country
    Example:
    - ¹Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine, RSUD Kabupaten Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia.
    - ²Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine, Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pelita Harapan, Tangerang, Indonesia.
  6. The abstract must be written in clear English and consistently follow either British or American spelling throughout the document.
  7. Abstract structure:
    Original Research and Systematic Review
    - Background
    - Objectives
    - Methods
    - Results
    - Conclusion
    Case Report/Case Series
    - Background
    - Case Description
    - Discussion
    - Conclusion
  8. Word limits:
    - Original Research/Systematic Review: maximum 300 words
    - Case Report/Case Series: maximum 200 words
  9. Keywords:
    - Provide 3–5 keywords
    - Keywords should follow Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) 2023
  10. Systematic reviews (submitted under the Original Research category) must include a PRISMA flow diagram on the second page of the abstract.
  11. A maximum of two figures and/or tables may be included in each abstract.
